2023 One Day ID Camps
The ID Camps provide an opportunity for prospective student-athletes to visit Eastern Kentucky University while showcasing their talents in front of our EKU Women’s Soccer Coaching staff and current EKU Women’s Soccer team members.
During the camp, you will receive elite level instruction from the current EKU coaching staff and have exposure to the complete student-athlete experience. You will train using many of the same methods and facilities that the EKU team uses, interact with the current EKU players and get the opportunity for post camp feedback. Players will train by position and as teams.Training sessions will include dynamic warm-ups, led by our coaching staff and footwork/agility speed training. Topics of play will include speed of play, functional attacking, small sided (5v5, 8v8) and 11v11 matches.
ID CAMP GOALKEEPER TRAINING
Goalkeeper training will be a point of emphasis at all ID Camps. Training for goalkeepers will focus on: footwork, catching, distribution, angle play, high balls and decision-making. Our Head Coach will oversee the training and assist the Goalkeeper trainer throughout the day and will be available for feedback after the completion of the camp.
